Working Together...
A Caring, Sharing Partnership

Welcome to

Horndale County Infant & Nursery School

Welcome to Horndale Infant & Nursery School. At Horndale, we aim to provide a happy, friendly and caring environment where children can feel secure and valued.

Children are encouraged to develop in an atmosphere which promotes learning and encourages all pupils to achieve their full potential.

We enjoy working closely with parents/carers and we welcome your support. Our mission statement 'working together....a caring, sharing partnership' drives everything we do.

I am very proud of the hard work and contributions of both staff and pupils and whether you are a new parent, or a returning parent, we look forward to welcoming you on our journey together. I look forward to meeting you and beginning your child's Horndale journey together. If you have any questions please feel free to come and visit us.

Kind regards

Mrs L Lakey, Headteacher

🟣🟡🟠🟢🔴🔵We are very excited to be having a colour run on Wednesday 16th July as a final goodbye to Horndale Infant and Nursery School, before we close our doors for the summer and move to our St Francis Horndale Primary School in September.
Can we ask all children to come to school on Wednesday 16th in T-shirts, shorts, leggings, joggers etc that you don’t mind getting covered in paint ( light colours/ white are best to show colours).
We are also asking Parents and carers to come along and enjoy the fun with us too. The fun will begin at 1.30pm and we ask parents to come to the side gate entrance where you can then walk through to the school field.
We would love Nursery children to come along too, accompanied by parents and carers to join in the fun.
Mrs Lakey will welcome everyone and the children from Horndale and St Francis will be waiting in house team colours so family groups will be together.
There will be 4 races of 15 minutes each where parents and carers can join your child/children to take part in the colour run fun.
After you and your child have raced you are welcome to stay and cheer others on or you are welcome to collect your child’s belongings and will be signed out of school by the side gate ready to start your Summer holidays.
We really hope you can join us to enjoy a Final Horndale Hurrah! We look forward to seeing you there and thank you all for your continued support. 🟣🟡🟠🟢🔴🔵
