How we will reopen our school safely

Dear Parent/Pupil,

We have been really pleased with how school operated in the Autumn Term 2021. We recognised that some rules had been relaxed, with the emergence of the latest strand of Covid-19, Omicron, we are going to continue with some safety measure in the Spring Term 2022.

  • Our one-way system for pick up and drop off will remain in place. It is up to parents if you want to continue social distancing measures. Masks are optional for parents at collection however may be asked to wear a mask if a class teacher needs to speak to them
  • Pupils and staff will no longer be in class/key stage bubbles
  • Staff will wear masks in communal areas of the school
  • All visitions will be required to wear a mask in the school building.
  • School will begin to run assemblies once per week initially (we are really excited about this!)
  • Pupils will continue to have staggered lunch and break times
  • Homework will be sent via Seesaw each week
