We hope you will enjoy looking at our website and learning about our school and Nursery.
At Horndale County Infant and Nursery School we aim to provide a happy, friendly and caring environment where children can feel secure and valued.
Children are encouraged to develop self discipline and mutual respect for each other and for all adults in an atmosphere which promotes learning and encourages all pupils to achieve their full potential. We were judged to be ‘Requires Improvement’ by Ofsted in our most recent visit during February 2019 however we have made rapid progress on their identified Areas for Improvement.
All the children at Horndale County Infant and Nursery School are special. Some have particular talents, and some may require more support in small groups or perhaps individually. We have a carefully designed system for identifying individual needs and, as always, we aim to work closely with parents.
Details of the school’s Special Educational Needs policy and guidelines are available on request.
Horndale County Infant and Nursery School is committed to equality of opportunity to all its pupils, regardless of gender, ethnicity, religious affiliation or disability.
We are continually updating our website and please do not hesitate to contact us if you cannot find the information you require.
